Rio has a sly dig at Mourinho?
"We speak about Jurgen Klopp - and he seems to work with, and improve every single player who comes through the door at this club - and that's huge credit to him."
Probed into saying it by Lineker too

Didn’t realise psg equalised. In theory if results go as planned next week then table will be
lfc 9
Psg 7
napoli 5
i guess it would mean a draw v Napoli in week 5 would be enough to put us through and make it winner takes all v psg in final game for top of the table. Shame Napoli got that last minute winner or we’d be 6 ahead of them and beating Belgrade next week would mean we’d def be through as not both psg and Napoli could catch us I think
We play in Paris in week 5 And home to Napoli in the final game
FFS.Are we not playing pgs first then napoli
It was a really slow start and Red Star pressed us from the off.
But once we got going, we simply dominated. Good goals, created a lot chances and hardly gave them a sniff.
We had 11 players on the pitch who are confident ball players. All can take the ball on the half turn and play progressively. It makes a huge difference.
Obviously I’m going to be biased but after the slow start, I thought Fabinho was excellent.
Defensively - his positioning was excellent. Seemed to be in the right place at the right time. The guy won 18 duels in one match - to put it into context, Hendo won 16 duels against Huddersfield, Man City, Napoli, Chelsea, Southampton, PSG, Spurs and Leicester combined.
Further context:
Average Duels WON per match this season (EPL).
7.0 lovren
5.4 vvd
4.3 milner
2.9 gini
1.9 hendo
Offensively, his passing was progressive and forward looking. He receives the ball on the half turn and looks to play quickly. Had the ability to evade players and run with the ball.
He passed the ball to one of our forwards with 31% of his passes.
Average for Hendo and Wijnaldum are 12.6 and 12.9%.
Need to try win the group. The likes of Dortmund look quality this season, don't want to play them anytime soon

This is awful.

Called it at the end of this thread. Ye of little ****ing faith![]()
How can we can from being so **** to looking like scoring on every attack do quickly? Don't effect brilliance every second but it's such a vast change!

Wasn't as impressed by Fabinho as others here seemed to be, thought he was very awkward and gave the ball away far too often, few needless fouls which weren't "smart" fouls to break up play either. But he had a few good moments so happy to give him time to ease into our team and see what happens.
Not our best performance, but it was a step in the right direction for sure! Our forward 3 all scoring is big for confidence and they showed glimpses of their link up play. Robbo and Shaqiri were great. Gomez and VVD so assured at the back (and doesn't he suit that armband!). Also impressed with Sturridge's cameo once again

I reckon you'll end up eating those words about Fabinho. He got better and better and it's his first full game. I reckon he'll be great![]()
The one touch football is almost back. We could do with another large win on Saturday and have a whole week to prep for the gunners.

Posting during a game is different mate, I'm not proof reading **** then
It's actually rare for me to post during a game but last night's game was dull as **** for large periods.
