Hasn't this happened to them repeatedly over the last few years? Us and West Ham, at least.
They were extremely late for the 3-0 at White Hart Lane, to the extent that the game was 0-0 when it reached the time that it should've finished.
Is this some sort of mind games bullshit by them or do they just need to sort out their coach driver?

While there aren't any reports saying it, Juve's game management against Young Boys was masterful and the sort of thing Steptonho couldn't do even with a squad of players who don't despise the rampaging egotist: they replaced Matuidi with Can at half time as they were already 2-0 up and wanted additional muscle to snuff out any attempts to get back into the game, as soon as they went 3-0 up they replaced Pjanic with Khedira to essentially sit on the match for the last twenty minutes to the point they could replace Mandzukic with Kean for the last twelve minutes as they'd not so much shut up shop as erected a ten foot concrete wall around it - yet it wasn't a Pulisesque game where they had 14% of possession, they had the majority of possession and were shooting at will

Of course, there's another way to look at it...
2018: scored a goal while getting teabagged by PSG
1993-2017: didn't score a single goal
1992: reached the semi final group stage (yes, that is actually a sentence) in spite of not being allowed to play at home due to a slight case of war
1991: beat Marseilles in the final to win the bloody thing!

That's Red Star Belgrade, for anyone that doesn't recognise the name.
Probably one of the only clubs to be directly linked to war crimes and crimes against humanity.

And yet not the only one in the former Yugoslavia, as Dinamo Zagreb have also been linked with war criminals - and it's pretty difficult for them to deny it, considering they once made a donation to the defence funds of a couple of people awaiting trial at the Hague...

Los Ladrones have written a letter to the RFEF opposing a Barca vs Girona match being staged in Miami, which doesn't in any way sound like they're PO'd that Barca are headed to the USA of America and they didn't invite their Francoist best buds along for the trip...
 
So there's been a bit of a meltdown at Bayern that registers 6.3 on the Moronho scale after chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and president Uli Hoeness kvetching about the media coverage of their recent run of four games without a win that has seen the club languish in sixth place while also being neatly sandwiched between Ajax and Benfica in the Champions league

On the plus side, as neither Rummenigge nor Hoeness referring to me as a "anti-semitic Nazi apologising communist bigot" on Facebook it's not the most ludicrous meltdown I've seen all week...
 
I've been banging on for some time about Spurs' place in any forthcoming 'Super League' and the likelihood that it could take place outside UEFA's control and surprise, surprise, the Head of FIFA knows some blokes with a big bag of cash who'd just love to have a Club World Cup...

The way things are moving, there's a real possibility of a breakaway movement well within in the next decade and quite probably the next 5 years. I'll give ENIC their due, they've timed the stadium investment perfectly. Without it, we'd be on the sidelines watching these developments. With the best stadium in world football and a guaranteed 62,000 capacity in London, we're unlikely to get left behind.

There's every likelihood that the cost of the build will seem inconsequential in the years ahead. With the sale of Wembley falling through and our NFL chances being significantly enhanced, I can potentially see Chelsea's asking price of £3 billion being matched for our club, should Joe choose to sell.

Judging by the utter farce that is the WWE show scheduled to take place in Riyadh next week, Man Utd might find themselves in a spot of bother when they submit the lineup for their first match only to have fifteen blokes show up in the dressing room asking where Beckham, Giggs and Cantona are

This pre-season's International Champions Cup sets a pretty low bar for what clubs will offer up to foreign paying spectators, unless made to do more. If any of these tournaments are going to be worth a damn, most of the money had better be based upon progression to the latter stages.

The main concern is the willingness of foreign owners to play games in countries with no football history but lots and lots of money. As more and more English clubs make up one of numerous 'franchises' owned by foreign nationals, why should it bother them where their games are played?

I probably should have mention that, for their previous Saudi show back in April, the WWE were told that Crown Prince Mohammad was a big fan of Yokozuna and hoped to see him appear at the show

Yokozuna died back in 2000, so WWE had to find a sumo wrestler at short notice to fill the spot on the card to make sure everyone kept their fingers

Here's hoping that Johan Cruyff isn't expected to line up for Ajax, eh?
