I've been banging on for some time about Spurs' place in any forthcoming 'Super League' and the likelihood that it could take place outside UEFA's control and surprise, surprise, the Head of FIFA knows some blokes with a big bag of cash who'd just love to have a Club World Cup...

The way things are moving, there's a real possibility of a breakaway movement well within in the next decade and quite probably the next 5 years. I'll give ENIC their due, they've timed the stadium investment perfectly. Without it, we'd be on the sidelines watching these developments. With the best stadium in world football and a guaranteed 62,000 capacity in London, we're unlikely to get left behind.

There's every likelihood that the cost of the build will seem inconsequential in the years ahead. With the sale of Wembley falling through and our NFL chances being significantly enhanced, I can potentially see Chelsea's asking price of £3 billion being matched for our club, should Joe choose to sell.
The chavs are not worth 3 billion as there have not been a queue of potential buyers. OK they have been given money by Abramovic, would like to get his money back, but they dont have 3 billion worth of assets. He'll be lucky to get 1 billion.

Pissing off the RFEF was worth it, then?

El Mundo has a headline that translates as:
"After finishing with the National Team and Real Madrid, Julen Lopetegui will try to destroy the monarchy"!
Harsh. Probably fair, but still.

With some of the lunatic fringe of our fans demanding we sell Lloris ASAP because of his howlers against Barca and PSV, allow me to introduce you to Sandecja Nowy Sacz goalkeeper Marek Koziol as he plies his trade in the Polish second tier

One of Dortmund / PSG / Porto / Madrid / Munich / Juventus.

Too much to ask the Mancs not to finish top of their
CL groups (as it lessens the odd of Spurs drawing a
"big fish" opponent in the last 16) ??

CL departees into the Emmerdale League to join our neighbours :

Bruges, Inter, Napoli, Galatasaray. Benfica, Shaktar, Pizen, Valencia

Steven Gerrard talked a big game, for a moment it looked like he could back it up, but ultimately he failed

I'm talking about Rangers needing to beat Rapid Vienna to make the knockout stages of the Europa League only to lose 1-0, just in case that needed clarification...
