can we start talking about the Chelsea game? I hate these international breaks and want proper footy back, maybe on Monday do you think?
well i don't mind giving it a go... i'm thinking this is gonna be a very difficult run out for us, the new players at Chelsea are simply going to fit straight into their style of play and i think the signing of Raul Mierles (spelling) will be great for them and they will get far more out of him than Liverpool did. so i would be extrememly happy with a point but in my heart of hearts i will have to say this will be a defeat (not being pessimistic) i just dont think we will have gelled just yet to beat them so early in the season. However, come Stoke in the next game i reckon we will be ready to start our ascent up the table!
I agree that Meireles was a top signing for them. They have a few players looking not quite right, and they are kind of grinding out results without impressing, a win is not impossible, but it remains unlikely, they are a quality side, and at some point they will click. I must admit i fear Torres, as strikers often find their shooting boots against us, but we'll give them a good game.
I agree, he is a sensational player. His name, as a point of note, literally translates to John Death. Nice. Well, not nice in fact....
