There is various residential parking not too far from the ground but it is the luck of the draw to some extent ... my cousin lives on Boundary Road on the Aylestone Rd side of the ground and I tend to park there ...
Would that side be as good for getting away afterwards though? Looks a bit close to the ground to me...
Work have agreed to let me leave early now so I plan on getting up there pretty as I'd rather have an hour or two to kill by having some grub n stuff than have to rush up sitting in rush hour traffic.
Probably better in my experience (was brought up not far away - Saffron Lane) you can head up the Aylestone Road after the game up to Soar Valley Way which skirts past Fosse Park and to the motorways ...
Yeah just seen that actually, and there's plenty of street parking near there? Give us a road to aim for if you can

As a complete aside .... a new Therapeutic Thai massage (think it's supposed to be Thai) place has opened up on the corner of Boundary Rd and Aylestone Rd ... if you get there early and feel a stiffness of the shoulders .... just saying.
Unfortunately one of my cousins passed away last month and I drove up to Warrington for the funeral after picking up my cousin from Boundaty Rd ... he pointed out the massage place as we turned onto Aylestone Rd ... he hasn't been there .................... yet
