What will decide the success or otherwise of the stadium is the supporter experience. You can try and polish the White Elephant but it remains a turd. An athletic stadium replacing a tight, classical English football stadium will always disappoint. Most clubs have screwed their supporters' experience in stadium moves by treating the fans as an afterthought.

Supposedly, Wenger drove the design of The Emirates. It probably is a design to suit players. The main drive for our stadium is to give supporters what they want and I believe that very few will be disappointed with the experience of watching the game.

It would be great to think that food and drink will be affordably priced. I could definitely see myself with family and friends in the South Stand Atrium for a post-match pint and sing-song, if they get the pricing and atmosphere right. Overprice it and it'll be largely empty. Be brave on price and it could transform the whole thing.......'To Dare is To Do', Daniel.

I think that they'll **** up the pricing, as I think that they've done it for the season tickets.
The kop end should be the Park Lane fans now plus anyone who want to join in the noise, not some of the most expensive tickets in the country.

You're entirely right on what should happen, though.
Get it right and you'll get people arriving early and staying late.
Mess it up and it'll be the mad rush out the door at Wembley's final whistle.

You get one chance to make a first impression. Set it up to make an initial small-ish profit and people will give it a go. Overprice it and most won't come back again.. Plus, the club looks more foolish and grasping than any business needs to. Whereas, tv coverage, full of fans celebrating a win in great voice an hour after the match, would really be great and marketable.

A bit of good publicity wouldn't go amiss right now. Why not offer some initial deals to measure the potential and take it from there? Give it a lead in to win hearts and minds and review it after a few games?

Leicester get no end of good, free publicity for their 'gifts' to fans. Sure, you're only giving them back some of their own money, but as with most gifts, it's the thought that counts.

Bloody messages are all over place........ bad workman blaming tools I’m sure..... <laugh>

Just wanted to know why the seating blocks appear to uneven in size at the very back of the stand. Different sizes although not sure ‘walls’ are the problem?

Possibly related to what appears to be an exit at the back of the stand

Only 15% for the FA Cup, league games will be 3000.

Think it's 10% for EFL cup and 5 (?) For Europe.

Yes I have to agree but there are different levels to everything aren't there? Some have a greater devotion to their clubs than others but it doesn't mean to say that the others have to follow does it? Just because one supporter hates West Ham doesn't mean to say everybody has to hate West Ham does it, or Liverpool or Chelsea or whoever? Not going to delve too deeply but a slight mobility concern makes it difficult for me.............that's all gentlemen. There's no need for indignation directed at one supporter, or in my case follower because the devotion isn't as great. I'm still Spurs and because personal circumstances have changed for me I'm just trying to rebuild a bridge on here. If it doesn't work then ok.

Don't take offence. I'm pretty sure that there was a large slice of 'The Four Yorkshiremen' about the comments........"You lived in a hole in the road?....You were lucky!"

I've got a mate who's a Stoke fan. He missed his wife's 40th birthday to fly back to England, from the states,to watch the first game of the season. Amazingly, he's still married but I guess, he is extremely wealthy.

Amazing view, if you don't mind heights!

More of a corridor than a bar, though.

I'm going to assume the bar will be installed at some point

So watch this space for when we have to delay its opening because somebody accidentally ordered several thousand gallons of Fosters...

It'll have to be slimline and standing room only. The thing can't be 8' wide. By the time some chairs and tables went in, it'd be full.

Aren't they just going to install nozzles in the wall? Best make sure the pressure's up to standard, we don't want to blast somebody out the window.

I'm going to assume that's a removable partition at the back based on the artist's impressions...

...as well as this video posted in June that shows the space the bar will fill (warning: person isn't holding their camera sideways)

That render's representing the bars above the seating on the East and West Stands. The video footage is of the space suspended above the North Stand, which is considerably smaller and was originally intended for storage of maintenance items.

As yet, no renders have been released concerning what they intend to do with it but it'll have to be well designed to get the most out of such a small space. I'm sure it'll be spectacular and the view is stunning, even for someone who hates heights.

I read your original post as it just being a distance reason for not going. Apologies for that and hope your situation improves so you can once again come to see the mighty Spurs in the awesome stadium.

Wonder how it will be lit up in the evenings..is it just a big see through structure with internal lights lighting it all up or will it do something like the Allianz Arena in Germany?
