Zieler admitted to getting a touch. Had he left it and the ball went straight into the net it wouldnt count as a goal and would have been a corner instead

He was ****. Since we signed Kasper we have never had decent back up. Weale, Logan, Hamer, Schwarzer, Zieler and Jakupovic was all useless

Danny Ward so far looks capable of giving Kasper a run for his money

I wouldn’t lump all them in, Weale served us really well as first choice at the level we were at until Kasper came in, Schwarzer was just at the back end of his career and Jako just hasn’t had a look in. I think Kasper just makes the competition look ordinary due to his high standards. I agree Ward is in terms of being the right age etc

Disagree on Schwarzer ... never really let us down and prevented a cricket score at Man City <laugh>

Weale was very good during his first season
But as soon as Sven kept signing anyone alive to replace him (Ikeme, Kirkland, Ricardo) he was never the same keeper and kept conceding from any shot from outside the box
