I still haven't read anyone pointing out that Cavani was offside for their first."But we never lost our shape. We still managed to maintain two clear lines."

Liverpool have won their opening six competitive
matches of a season for the first time since 1961-62-when in the second tier and Bill Shanky was manager.
Like in the CL final ....... [HASHTAG]#concussiongate[/HASHTAG]If it happened anywhere else on the pitch then the ref might have blown it off. The fact that it happened to a goal keeper then it's a foul everytime.
Refs protect keepers.
Yeah I think it was a foul. Studge got the ball but did go over the too
Yeah, I haven't heard a thing.......and he was deffo interfering with playI still haven't read anyone pointing out that Cavani was offside for their first.

Justice was eventually done by scoring a late, late goal.BT Sports said it was 100% offside and just moved on

Back to winning ways - keep going till the whistle, that way you can score late winners. To win a game like that of yesterday you have to go for broke which we did ant it worked.
Yep, confidence and belief..............this Liverpool side are starting to get scaryI think it's a mark of how far we've come that, after Mbappe equalised, I was more bothered about us trying to get a winner rather than worrying about us losing.
We've shut out games really professionally so far this season and last night we went one better![]()

Think about the last few seasons when we've squandered a 2 goal lead, Sevilla games spring to mind. Never looked like getting the win after being pegged back to 2-2I think it's a mark of how far we've come that, after Mbappe equalised, I was more bothered about us trying to get a winner rather than worrying about us losing.

Listened to a RedmenTV show and they were gushing over Milner for a while (rightly so) and they were discussing how Milner is rated.
I think he's ****ing incredible, not only his workrate, but just everything he does. I can't remember a game he's played that's been less than a 7/10, but he's stepped up another level this season; he's man of the match most games now. Can you think of a better midfielder right now? Definitely in the PL. In Europe though?
I used to say Milner was like Finnan or Arbeloa in that he’d never give you a 9/10 out of 10 but he’ll also never give you a 5 or 6. He’s the model of consistency, 7/10 every week.
However, this season he seems to have upped his game and is now putting in those big performances. Maybe he has a slightly different role this year, maybe playing for a new contract.
He’s the fittest player in the squad at 32. Give him another 2 years with an option of a third. He’d be very much within his rights to seek a 4 year deal and a big signing on fee elsewhere tbh.
I'm surprised nobody mentioned vvd yellow card early in first half.
that hurt his ability to make challenges big time
Van Dijk booked for being obstructed after playing the ball
