Henderson was excellent today, competition for places should see this more often than not with any hope
I'm just gutted we didn't get him when he left Villa when I truly wanted us to sign him. They were the only other club to give him a chance at CM and he was brilliant for them too.
I don't get that nervous nowadays, I just loved the game. A proper entertaining game. Only issue I have is the dodgy **** the ref served up. I had a sore throat anyway but it's ****ed now!
Two attacking trio's that are consider to be amongst the best in the game but my question is this... Who was best tonight? Salah Mane Firmino Mbappe Neymar Cavani I won't put Studge in as I think he wins easily.
Haven't read thread from when I left to go home... But just saw highlights. Amazing goal from Firmino. Goal of the season contender that. Might not be a screamer into the corner or a bicycle kick, but that was brilliant manoeuvering and excellent placement. A great combination of multiple techniques. Better and more skillful than a lot of the goals that pundits go crazy for
Yep and Rio called it straight from the off Like I said no drama here It fairly simple to anyone who has played the game to see what has happened. Not often I say this but it’s a jog on Nice try but cleared up easily which is why I said not even worth the effort
The fake with his left was great but what made it was the touch with the outside of his right boot. That touch have him the half a yard he needed but also got the defenders out of position. Brilliant little touch as he was turning.
I wasn't nervous with tonight's finish simply because is have taken a draw beforehand. I was annoyed with the **** offside goal and Salah's sloppy pass, but not nervous.
Mcmanaman was pissing me off in the first half. He was banging on about their front three constantly. He saying that they wouldn't defend at all a few times whilst they were defending a corner with Cavani in their six yard box ffs
He literally just finds something he wants to run with and then just repeats it every 3 minutes - drives me crazy
@Jimmy Squarefoot... What were your thoughts on Hargreaves reflection on what a coach used to say to him and his colleagues... "hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard" This is what I've been saying for a long time; you can have all the talent in the world but if you don't work hard for the team then you shouldn't be part of the team. For the record, I'm being serious here rather than ripping you (for once).
