I don't know this PSG team very well other than the obvious 2. We can beat them as long as we can keep those 2 quiet.
I think both start wide and make diagonal runs into the box, Klopp needs to get the tactics right.

They're just Man City but with bigger egos and a #fakeleague to waste away in with no challenge

As long as we win all our home games, we stand a chance. If Firmino is not playing we are going to miss him.
His work ethic is second to none in the premiership.

If he doesn't play it shows the big mistake in not getting a back up. There is no one to do his job upfront. Yes Sturridge can maybe play a league cup game, but a game like PSG we need to out run them and do what we did to Man City.

I see you missed our January signing to replace Can #Rabiotonafree . They have some good individuals and it should be a brilliant game as they will not park the bus. Least wasteful team wins this one. I hope this is the game that the front 3 finally click as we have been threatening a thrashing but Spuds ducked theirs.

The weekend game was a good one to have before the PSG game. I liked how we blocked passing lanes first then small bursts of pressing to conserve energy. I expect the same to happen on Tuesday. I am struggling to see how our midfield will line up as Fabinho is very familiar to the opponents so wouldn't be a bad game to give him his debut.

Cant see Fab coming straight in. He’ll be given minutes from the bench, im guessing he’ll play some part v saints and then again v Chelsea in lesgue cup.

I think midfiekd will will be Hendo in for one of those that started Saturday and that’s it. Other 2 will play

It was a beautiful 9.5. That skip and star fish leg spread was something Delle Alli would be proud off.

I wonder if RHC will be watching PSG while on LSD south of the USA border.

I'd put Milner as equal to him for work rate.

Milner is probably above him for work rate. Milner clocks more km than everyone else in almost every game.

For the role Firm plays, I think of our current squad Lala or Ox if they were fit would be better replacements than Studge.

Firm doesn't really play the CF role. He takes advantage of the gap in the middle our two wide forwards create, but he's not really a forward. What Lala or Ox do is closer to his role than Studge.

Studge would change the shape of our team, or play in a role he isn't very good at if he tried to slot into Firm's position.

Klopp reveals latest on Roberto Firmino injury

Roberto Firmino requires further assessment before a decision is made on his involvement in Tuesday's Champions League meeting with Paris Saint-Germain.

The Brazil international was forced off with a quarter of an hour to go in the Reds’ 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley on Saturday after sustaining an eye injury.

It was confirmed that evening Firmino had been discharged from hospital later in the day, with tests showing an abrasion but no lasting damage.

However, ongoing checks will be necessary to determine whether he can feature versus PSG, confirmed Jürgen Klopp on Monday.

Asked if the No.9 is available for the tie, the manager told Liverpoolfc.com: “No idea, to be honest. He is much better.

“We all saw the picture and we were massively worried. But all these worries are away so he will be fine. If he will be fine for tomorrow, I don’t know in the moment.

“We are obviously in close contact with him and it improved already – but in this moment I can’t say if he will be available for tomorrow.”

Assuming Firm is out of the game does Studge come in as a direct replacement or does Shaqiri play RW and Salah move to CF ?.
I suspect the second option but have absolutely no valid reasons for this .<laugh>

If Firmino isn't available we may as well not bother. No way we'll get anything without him.
