So who told you about this evidence if it wasn't the media or being told?
Information from a number of different sources, one of which was not media related, and close to the science of the affair.....and a lot of internet research, I am very interested in this sort of thing (too much time on my hands now I am retired).
Also the news is paradoxically more reliable early on when only facts are recounted without other peoples view on what it means.
Go back to what was recounted at the start and there are some funny quirks in the story...that were either lost or ironed over (yes they maybe red herrings but there again...)

I thought the timings at Gatwick were explained by the fact that there are two channels, both filmed at the same time by separate cctv cameras?
Absolutely....and both recorded the same time down to the second!!!
Extremely unlikey!!! but possible

.....but now it seems actually probable.

This is the bit I so do not understand Col. In the UN debate (which I watched live on CNN, as it was the only English speaking channlel I could get in my hotel room in France). The Russian ambassador, made fun of the data timing at Gatwick, saying it was highly improbable and so doctored/edited by British Secret Service. Although our allies stuck by us in the debate, no-one tried to explain it or defend it and it seemed they were as perplexed by it as the Russians were. If the Russians had stopped at that point, and left the seed of doubt grow, I am sure they would have "won" serious points, but then they go and counter it with that stupid video yesterday.

You may be absolutely right, perhaps Putin wants to "admit" to the crime, by defending the action so pathetically ... as a warning to others.

I am now intrigued by the poisioning of the PussyRiot man in the Russian prison. If true poison is definately a Russian signature

unfortunately bob yet again you are wrong. Don't try to defend this because you will only look silly.
I think I said at the time that it didn't take Poirot to work it out. Of course it was the Russians and anyone who thought differently were talking a load of old roubles.
That TV charade just puts the nail in the coffin for Putin (which the intelligent people knew anyway).
Unfortunately yet again you are wrong Ellers. Not one person on here ever said it wasn't the Russians, yet you insinuate that people did because they were waiting for evidence before making accusations! You really need to read things in the right way mate

Ellers I believe I have half a brain cell...and there were a lot , a huge amount of inconsistencies in the "official" account the poisoning. That may be accounted for by security reasons, we do not know/should not know all the details DURING an investigation. There are problems with the story.

The doorknob at the house.
The timing problems at Gatwick
The tragic death of Dawn Sturgiss, who picked up an unopened bottle of Nicci Ricci perfume from a charity bin months later and had to assemble it. It has a seperate applicator. Sprayed it on herself and died.

It will all come out in time I am sure....but scepticism is a good thing. So is learning to think for yourself, with your own half a brain cell and not believing everything you are told
Excellent post

How am I wrong? I said it was the Russians and I was right. If people don't think it is the Russians after all the evidence you need to ask why?
As for insinuations, if you go back and read over the posts again I think you will find the only insinuating was against the British government which by the way is a load of old tosh.
Sadly only Beth has had the decency to hold her hands up and say okay the evidence shows it was the Russians rather than try and defend it.
As I said people are on a losing battle trying to find excuses.

Okay so the media. :emoticon-0148-yes:

**** reporting all over the place today, with the ‘house prices to drop by a third with no deal Brexit’ headlines. The figures comes from Carney’s briefing to the cabinet (which one of them leaked) and were clearly and explicitly part of a ‘worst possible scenario’ description, not in any way a prediction.

Things are tense and ugly enough without this kind of misleading crap.

Totally agree and as someone pointed out yesterday that was what he believes could be the worst case scenario. However, plenty of people have played down his comments describing them as 'Project Fear'. It's always funny when a secret document gets leaked <doh>. Do they really think we are that stupid? I know according to some Brexiteers are 'thick uneducated racist'. Mr Carney's track record is not that good, however to say s''''e like that must tell us something about May and her standing.

Bob go back and have a read. They may not have said it outright but certainly wouldn't believe what the government was saying. Too many excuses from certain posters.
Funnily enough BobbyD popped up then as well? :emoticon-0126-nerd:

I’m not criticising what he said, that is just part of normal scenario planning, I’m criticising the way it’s been reported.

I actually thought you were mocking Brexit.
TBH I think we are at a stage where it will be changing daily so I can't be bothered to listen to for/against Brexit news because whatever one side says the others rubbish.
It is just a shame that we have such a weak leader.

Oops there is you answer bob.

This Russian thing is sad in so many ways. Not just the death, poisoning and lying but the fact that some @@@@'s have used this stuff on British soil. It disgusts me that in this day and age, we still have leading powers that will act like a common murderer.

Ah I've had Beth on ignore so didn't see it( only joking beth) my apologies ellers
My apologies too.....But I still think the whole thing is very very odd.
I will come back to this thread in 10 years and say I told you so I am sure!
