I've tried to watch as much of this fifth test as possible, but it has all of the feel of a dead rubber. I could've gone to see today's proceedings and was offered a ticket but glad that I declined. This was a good chance to see what our youngsters are made of and give them an opportunity rather than sticking with the old guard. It doesn't matter if we win 3-2 or 4-1. What stands out for me though is the quality of the umpiring, hardly any decisions over turned so well done to them. It would be great to see Cook bow out with a century even if I wouldn't have played him.
