I think it is something to do with the King's team whereas Barcelona are the People's team......but not 100% sure
The word real is Spanish for "royal" and was bestowed to the club by King Alfonso XIII in 1920 together with the royal crown in the emblem.
I think there's another Salt Lake but filled with a low sodium alternative. Don't get your Salt Lake FCs mixed up and accept no substitutes (unless for injury or tactical reasons).
