Phil - but the charge would hit the P&L account, then either Cash or Creditors (if payment deferred).
Looks like we are ready to make another £10 Million loss on Bony! If he goes before 5pm for £2 Million, that will be another successful Jenkins transfer dealing........... These transfer losses are starting to stack up, I wonder what the total figure will be? At the minute a quick guess would be around £40 Million.
According to Stumpy Galatasaray want him for ‘0’, so that we get to save on his wages, get ready for an undisclosed fee, which will mean zero fee....... What a mess in transfer dealings, and the Turkey is still drawing £666,000 per annum.............
The loan window for the EFL is closed and I'm delighted with the loan signins we made today. Oh wait a minute we didn't make any
Well, we didn’t think much would happen and it looks as though we were correct. A fairly miserable day for Swansea fans. The safety net of the loan window has not been used. Dear me!!!................ One and only positive, Bony is still with us, and he could be massive at this level., also Dyer still here too...........
Per the BBC: “It's probably the biggest deal of the day in the EFL and it's come a mere 20 minutes after the window closed. Aston Villa have signed Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham, 20, on a season-long loan deal.”
To be honest, I am more pleased we have still got Bony on the books, something to look forward to, as he comes back into the squad, he should be lethal at this level...........
I thought I read somewhere that signing on fees are treated in some way that it does not get into players wages but is categorised as not being related to playing. I suspect there are some special deals going on to help with tax burden for the players which may see some payments not being seen as players wages but still in wages. If someone was getting big bucks, doesn't the highest paid worker have to be shown in the notes.
Ah yes....so some highly paid yank could be getting more so long as not a director? What I am getting at is that I cannot see anywhere in the accounts where big bucks are being pulled out of the business by the Yanks. Even relted transactions are not big money and are probably related to stadium rent etc.....or the vending machines.
£12,173 a week to be grossly incompetent. I can do that for £1,000 a week and save the Club over half a million quid
