I’ve lost a little touch with some academy news...are we competing in this competition as part of an anniversary? Like the Southampton cup last year

This has been talked about for a while....apparently Spurs and United were also interested...so sounds promising.
His first interview....French-speaking. Hopes to get time with the U23s....at 16, if he does, he must be good.

I thought exactly that. Academy lads don't normally get this much coverage.
Happy to sign somebody in that position. We've really lacked people who play further back and had resorted to playing Hesketh as a DM at times last season!
Might provide some balance and hopefully quality at the same time. Bring out the quality in some of our youth.
