Looks like another week of high excitement judging by Nigel’s comments in the Fail this morning. If he uses the phrase ‘hard working group again ‘ ... can’t he think of anything else to say !

If he we don't sign anyone I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves.

I suspect it's his way of saying they may be hard working but not good enough !

At what stage of the the week does Adkins say to Darnborough lets get anybody in the building to bolster squad numbers? I don't think Adkins will want to be facing up to the press on Satuday morning coming out with more naff soundbites about having a hardworking team, enhancing the quality of the players he has.

There are many many hard working groups of players in football, many of them play in leagues three and four (old money) and in the National Leagues... thats their level of skill..

There are many hard working groups of players at all levels. How do you think Phil Brown got us into the Prem in the first place?

My local pub team is hardworking. Brilliant in the warm ups. And still full of energy and running when it comes to getting changed and back for the after match pints and grub.

Fair to say, they had a leader, local players, a degree of skill above where we are now and their desire was to get out of the league but in the direction they eventually ended up in.

Then we will be recruiting from even lower leagues in the pyramid.

I think there are four scenarios for the Dynamic Duo of Nigel and Lee.

    1. They are that crap that they can’t attract anyone to the club.

    2. They have no money to attract players for transfers or for decent wages

    3. They have no faith in their own abilities to get another job and therefore will put up with anything

    4. The profile and reputation of the club owners (professionals must talk to each other) is so low with players that they won’t sign for us anyway.

    Answers on a postcard please.

As for anyone who thinks this squad is as good as the one Brown got promoted. No chance no matter how hard working these lads are. They are six players short.

FWIW, 2 and 4 likely to be fact / the correct answers (if you change 'no' to very little or too little)

Leave nige out of it. Totally blameless. He can attract players, Norwood for example.
The answer is none of them.

    The answer is

The club, Ehab Allam, will not pay the money for proven championship players.
    And that's all he wrote.
