The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thur 23rd Aug)

Marceloa Bielsa ny tränare i Leeds

Evening Eric, maybe he is, but how?

It doesn't make sense.

Russian side make 10m offer for Jansson

LUFC turn it down

'SOMEONE' goes to the biggest Swedish newspaper telling them that a 5.1m offer had been accepted for Jansson, but he did not want to leave Leeds.

I can't understand the benefit of Jansson or his agent going to the Swedish press with that information!
Morning, Getting clubs aware that your interested in moving ?, smoke and fire

A better offer would possibly be acceptable to the club, more money and perhaps Pontus would be as well,. He has after all spent all summer with players that earn far more than him.

Morning Eric

But Phil Hay who is probably the most reliable LUFC source tells us that the offer was 10m, and Leeds turned it down.

So, how where did the 5m offer from the Swedish pres come from, let alone saying it was accepted, but Jansson turned the offer down!

Maybe because 5 million over 4 years isn't much more than he is earning now ?

Pontus Jansson nodded a move to FC Krasnodar. According to information to SportExpressen, the Swedish national defender was the Russian club's first choice in terms of midfield defenses - and also offered a bid to Leeds of about 60 million. But Jansson chose to stay in England. After Leeds had a heavy last half of the season last year, the national team's midfielder Pontus Jansson was rumored for a long time. He was linked with West Bromwich, West Ham and several other Premier League clubs. The club ended in 13th place last season, a place that neither the players nor the club leaders were pleased with. Want to see changes Jansson himself was clear about what he liked last season when the national team gathered in Stockholm in May before the World Cup final in Russia. - As it has seen this year, things have to happen. It was really bad both on and off the plane. Leeds wants to go up to the Premier League, that's how the club goes out and talks, and then there are changes. We came on the lower half of the second part of the season and it's not good at all, "said Jansson when the national team faced the fortune in Båstad. Marceloa Bielsa new coach in Leeds And it changed. Argentina's Marcelo Bielsa became a new coach in the club and Leeds is currently leading the Championship after ten points in the first four rounds. In the last match, 2-2 away against Swansea, Jansson was back injured and not in the squad. Jansson nodded to move to Krasnodar According to information to SportExpressen, the middleback also nodded a move to Russian FC Krasnodar in this transfer window. Krasnodar was willing to pay about 60 million kronor for the player, a sum that Leeds had accepted. But Jansson chose to nobba the Russian command, since a move to Russia is not relevant to Sweden. It confirms several independent sources for SportExpressen. Most transfer windows outside Europe close on September 1st.

Busy Championship transfer day today:
  • Jack Rodwell to Blackburn
  • Nakhi Wells & Tomer Hemed to QPR
  • Chelsea's Kalas to Bristol City
  • Besic back to Boro
  • Tom Bradshaw to the Wallies
Good job we don't need anybody at all. <yikes>

So is he really injured or refusing to play because he wants out.If Rad sells and fooks up our season with no CHs,he's going to have big problems.
