Is this saying we will be making more signings this week? He'll need a tin hat if we don't...

I was on vacation on the Acadian Peninsula, with my new partner, Wendy, who is really looking forward to seeing the R's play one day, she proudly carries my 2nd R's lapel pin in her Honda CRV, and I am finding it extremely hard to explain this humiliating score to her! I explained to Wendy how our masot, Jude the Cat, was based on St. Jude, the patron saint of lost causes, and after three games we certainly seem to be that. At least the first two losses were by narrow margins, but this was an absolute 2nd half capitulation after a 1-1 HT scoreline. Wendy says that a 4-1 scoreline is the highest she had ever seen. Attached is a shot of us today on Miscou Island on top of the historic lighthouse, oh dear she said, how could that happen!

On the basis of our start to the season, the clear lack of depth, experience and funding, we will be lucky to be in a relegation battle. A drop down to Div 1 could well be done and dusted before Xmas. I wonder if we would have still sent Manning out on loan had this result happened before that was agreed? I don’t recall ever feeling quite so dispondent about our prospects so early in the season.

When Wendy beats me significantly playing Canasta she calls it a "pasting", that scoreline today was a "thrashing" she says!

It's because of results like this that I love timezone differences
One of the most amazing things I have learned from this thread is that dreadzone still exist

I feel for you. At least most of us know the score, have a drink and some food and get an early night. You find out over your bowl of cornflakes and have it hanging over you all day.

Worst defeat in 31 years.

Steve McClaren, take a bow.

Not sure if the fault lies at the feet of McLaren.
I'm inclined to point any fault in the direction of the club board and the total lack of investment even of the smallest kind.
McLaren can't operate with little to no staff and or a bunch of trainees.
He's needs a blend of experience to balance the youngster when things go pear-shape, ie ( second half of game)
The best artist in the world will struggle to present a masterpiece with little to no palette.
Heck, we don';t even have a standard colour range to chose from.
Anyway, just my two-bobs worth.

I therefore assume the only best is upwards.

Ever the optimist... although this morning it is hard

This must be rock bottom unless of course we need to drop a division?

Imo the club needs a total rebuild

I lost my faith when I went to QPR to meet with Hoos (nice bloke) about the crest development and discuss how to redevelop the QPR brand ... regardless of football

In marketing terms then it was a drop of about 15 years

You have to gauge it by looking what other clubs have done since then to adapt to the changing face of football

This needs to be recorded as one of the worst business cases in Football and TF shouldn’t be allowed to reply we have made a few mistakes here and there

Be interesting now we have suffered a bad result to timeline it ... it’s full of despair

I am pretty sure AB took a bad seat when he did because he couldn’t handle the mess or vision. Hoping for a new dawn under him
