That was actually rather encouraging aside from the mistakes. We definitely need a decent centre half as a matter of urgency and looks like a new keeper after that too. But don't forget McGregor started 15/16 ****ing awfully but managed to have a good season in the end.

Marshall was quality until he joined us so he's got it in him, must be some sort of psychological issue. Hopefully he can get past it and quick.

Bob, Marshall is Herman Munster... end of!!!... if you're giving the youth a chance, get one of the young keepers in..

More game changing errors by Marshall. He needs to be benched immediately. If Adkins does a Phelan and keeps playing him we'll be all but relegated by Christmas. Replace him with Long and Mannion as back up.

Agreed but it's the massive comments of doom and gloom that annoy me.

I would normally agree about people going OTT after one game.

But what do you expect when a club has had its heart and soul ripped out of it. We have had the best opportunity to establish ourselves in the Premier League we are going to ever have. The club is every aspect has gone downhill over the past two years noone can deny that. Unfortunately when something like this sets in noone wins and we will eventually end up in League one in my eyes. Will it be this year? Who knows far too early to tell we could get some cracking signings in.

The only certainty is this clubs won't be back in the PL under the Allams.

O and my boycott will continue. I endeavour more people to join me! P

If it was 10-15 games then no problem. But one game at the start of the season is a massive over reaction. I agree about the Allams

Marshal is a great keeper when he has a half decent team with him.....He was **** hot for Cardiff that he was wanted by a number of teams and he was capped,.....But any keeper without some sort of defence in front of him won't do any better......Hopefully the manager will learn something and change the way the team plays because that was shocking.....Marshy is not to blame.....

Surely the essence of a great keeper is someone who stands out when those in front of him do not....!!!!!....

I thought we looked decent for most of the game and in the main, the new signings look good, individually, most of the players did well.

Obviously, de Wijs using his debut to do an impersonation of Sonko at Liverpool away wasn’t a great idea and Marshall still looks dodgy, but other than that we just lack options in most areas (particularly attacking), but we knew that already.

Neither of the two mentioned above will be dropped for the next game, Adkins has just said.

He may have been good for you but we've seen little sign of it , shocking from him for their 2nd goal , how is he not to blame for that ?

Burke looked very good. Liked Lichaj and Kane. Batty had a solid game. Henriksen was anonymous for long spells - not captain material. Lichaj looked better captain material to me - at least he was vocal and trying to organise.

Evandro looked tidy and effective. Campbell put in a shift.

The goal was game-changing too, there was a small chance we might have got an unlikely 1-1 before that happened and
from a keeper in his 30's it was inexcuseable

Right
Here goes

Evandro looked really good, and up for it too
Roger De Wijs’ nephew wasn’t very good, but I think he might get better as the defence plays together more (a rare sign of optimism from me)
Campbell was good, but not given any scoring chances
For some reason we’ve decided shooting isn’t advisable again
If I’m honest Kane’s apparent good performance passed me by, although in my defence all those young white kids look the same...
We looked ok up until their 2nd
Marshall just doesn’t inspire confidence, first goal was such appalling defending he could do nothing...goals 2 and 3 I wasn’t impressed
Lichaj looked a decent RB
Bowen looked good on the ball, but didn’t have many options to pass to and should have scored from Campbell’s pass

Turnstiles still slow

Spoke to someone whose pass from last season didn’t work so he had to go round to another stand with the other 100’s that couldn’t get in
