Can't be much room left under there.

Liverpool spent a world-record transfer fee on Alisson Becker but it seems they are saving a few pennies by not printing his name on the back of his shirt.
The Reds splashed out £65million to sign the Brazilian from Roma this summer and make him the most expensive goalkeeper in football history.
He made his first start for the Anfield outfit on Saturday evening and kept a clean sheet in the 5-0 thrashing of Serie A giants Napoli in a pre-season friendly in Dubiln.
However, the mega-money superstar was seemingly not give the five-star treatment by Jurgen Klopp’s backroom team as his name was written on his kit in pen.

he hasn't chosen his number... quite simple.
I remember playing away games against a team that play in the same colour, so we had to change to white shirts. But some had no numbers on, so it was a matter of electrical tape on the back and people playing as 1, 11, 111 etc etc.If I had written it in pen it would probably be illegible. Even if I had used a stencil it would have slipped at least once.![]()
I could do it. I was an apprentice in the printing industry. One of the things we learned was how to draw lettering freehand. If I had written it in pen it would probably be illegible. Even if I had used a stencil it would have slipped at least once.![]()
I thought he went under his first name anyway.
Has someone pointed out that it's a girl's name in our culture and suggested he use his surname?
As far as I'm concerned Alisson is the name he's been known by and so he should keep it - it might provide mild amusement for a while but that will wear off.
Not always. He always has Becker on his shirt but like to be known as Allisson.
The commentator on Lfctv yesterday attempting a Brazilian Allison was amusing!
They pay him 100k per week (or whatever it is) but don't want to do the name properly because it is just a temporary number and would cost an extra 5quid?
I think it's more likely they left it too late to get a number put on the shirt and just improvised the best they could.
No problem though... Looks pretty decent how they did it.
Thought I read somewhere that Alisson was given number 13 but not officially confirmed number to premier league yet which suggests they’re just having discussions with Karius about swapping the numbers over. Don’t be surprised if he has number 1 on his shirt this time next week
I don't care what they use to write it as Allisson is performing. If I had written it in pen it would probably be illegible. Even if I had used a stencil it would have slipped at least once.![]()
