I have noted in recent posts that there is a fair amount of caution with regards to the start of the season, could it be that many are learning from last seasons shenanigans not to get carried away too early?

Where you looking?
Those that were first aboard HMS Happyclappy last year having just about survived the iceberg collision have swum back to shore and are already up the gang plank and in their cabins for the repeat voyage..,

Those of us that could see beyond what were disappointing performances and results were more than happy with the building blocks put in place.

Further progress has been achieved this summer which will hopefully lead to improvement on the pitch.

You will be spending more time attending matches this season than you expected.

Chesh can you get out of Jammys account.
He knows going from a 7th placee finish to a 13th place one is no progress at all.

The best we can hope for is we can now start improving from the position Rad and Orta got us in with their poor running of the club last year.

Your finger should have gone from hovering to pressing down firmly with the recent acquisitions.

Unless you were being less than truthful ?

There is still too much dross at the club IMO.
Not convinced by the Keeper, we need another CB perhaps two ( Not sure pontus fits in) and we desperately need a number 10.
Whilst Alioski is here we could be improved as it stands I think you will see more of him than you would like.
If this is the year we are going for it we shouldn't be trying to do it with half measures and only a partial rebuild.

There is plenty of dross on here but you're still in attendance.

It gets worse...so many proteges and no successes.

Goes some way to explaining why you're such an obstinate barsteward though...for the good of the people.

As many of the managers that have worked under Orta and with his aquisitions can testify you can't polish turds.

Now the matchday thread is being used to discuss tactics for the season... <doh>
You would have thought the self proclained intelligesia would know better.
The naughty step will need reinforcing as the latest culprit is not exactly a slim Jim.

The super duper MODS.........wheres your fav female one...

You know how it is with females driven by chemicals and hormones instead of common sense..
Not checked recently but last I heard she had broken her arm whilst on yet another self imposed strop related absence...
Before you ask I was not part of whatever caused the combustion.

Surely know one is that daft. Proof of the pudding and all that. Some are even suggesting progress has been made before a ball has been kicked in anger.

I've noticed that some are talking about flight times, who they are flying with, holidays abroad in the sunshine etc
What's this got to do with the match, surely the above points are off topic.
