I think using this thread to lock Glory up is a really neat solution to an on-going issue. Ell and Bucks should be commended for devising such an exquisite
solution. Now he has been awarded with his own thread, an honour previously reserved for the venerable Shaks, he quite naturally will be expected to spend more of his time maintaining standards and creating interest. He will therefore have less free time for random fishing trips on the more focused and consequently more informative match day threads.
We will perhaps miss his amusing rantings about our beloved Leeds, in the same way one would miss a boil on the end of ones nose, and those diatribes about the merit of sunny Iberian villas will be lost. The consequence of renewed publicity for Rolls Royce cars in Bradford will be diminished and the underlying distrust of anything Celtic will be gone.
But not all is lost we will still be able to pop along to visit him on his own thread. It will be like going to the zoo to feed the monkeys or even visiting a sick uncle in hospital or jail.

Unfortunately you underestimate our Master Angler to whom multi tasking is not so much a way of life but more the reason for getting out of bed each morning.
You must have noted his albeit gentle prodding of Mr Speeding Offence the last couple of days, all dressed up in a general concern for the said persons welfare and court avoidance. He could barely contain his glee that someone could be such a numb nut to think that the law only applies to others.
