I quite rated him when he was at Barnsley. Don’t think it was me. Butterfield nowadays never looks fit though. Even in that link it looks like he’s carrying a few extra pounds.
Would prefer Norwood, runs the game. Abel doesn’t strike me as the sort of fella who would keep himself in peak physical condition if he doesn’t have to. I doubt it’s his Achilles.
We have Toral, Evandro, Hendrickson and to a lesser extent Irvine. We need a Norwood type in there, but Butterfield is or was a decent player.
Why wouldn't he stay fit? He wants to earn as much money as possible. That's the be all and end all for him. Nowt wrong with that.
That includes Nottingham. Another place which only gets larger crowds than City as there is nothing to do.
Artur Petrosyan @arturpetrosyan Abel Hernandez hasn't passed his medical at CSKA. The Uruguayan is still in Moscow but is now unlikely to sign. CSKA could take a risk (like they've done in the past on many occasions) if he significantly lowers his wage demands though.
