I can’t see it under Ashley. If it’s Gayle out, Rondon in, Mitro out, Muto in that will be it for us. We will hold back in case of relegation, or the threat thereof - it’s how Mike works. We would literally need to ship out Joselu before another arrives. At a push we might be able to replace Arma, but I doubt it. We didn’t last season.
You’re forgetting we don’t ask for all sale monies immediately and, therefore, there will only be about £5M available. Then you have to take into account for anyone coming in their wages for their contract and their Agent’s fee. So should be Jos’s older brother then.
At the very, very best we might loan Ings or Welbeck. We will absolutely not buy anyone. Any fan expecting NUFC to spend £20m on a striker - like over half the league have done recently - is out of their mind.
