To me Burnsy and Swanny are like two blokes - two friends - who go to the match because they love it and what they say reflects that, added to the fact that they know some of the players. Radio 5, Talk Sport, MOTD and especially Sky take it all too seriously and have like an inquest afterwards. That's for chess or bridge, not football. As for Viking - No 12 passes to no 20. Oh and they've scored. Which side has scored they don't tell us
I for one am delighted ..

If I’m listening to a game of football on the radio I want to know what’s going on in the game.

Other local stations manage it.

I don’t want to listen to a pair of unfunny ****s who think they’re both funny talk about anything other than the football I’m expecting to hear about. I imagine the people excited about this return will be besides themselves with joy when Ant returns to be with Dec on the telly and will welcome him back as a genius hero too. Mental.

The only positive out of this is, Ehabs backtracked on a decision. Again. Despite us being told the Allams don’t ever do that.

Just give us concessions back and we’re all good again. Proper ones mind. Not some clever ****ing about with them.

Burns isn’t. Far better than that ****e from Viking.
You’re entitled to your opinion, even when it’s wrong.

The “better”analogy is bollocks. It’s the same type of choice as being told you have to choose between a kick in the knackers or eating a **** sandwich. Viking was poor. Burns and Swan were poor. Unless you’re not judging either on quality of commentary.

At least now we won’t have to endure claims he’s a hard hitting investigative journo pushing the club hard for answers as he’ll be back in his pie box.

If Motson can retire, then come back a couple of weeks after 'retiring' then the Burn's boy can come back.
I bet the BBC are well pi$$ed off with Motson, more than losing to pilchard.

Viking had a bloke called Graham Lloyd commentating, he was $hit. I'd have preferred Harold Lloyd.
