At least nine of that squad are highly unlikely to figure in team selections this season (but squad experience will do them no harm); Furlong is also out for at least 3 months.
 
Are numbers important any more in the greater scheme of things, I’m not sure it means a whole lot to Eze that he’s been given the 10, certainly the fans will imbue it with significance but I think the players put it all behind them or to one side at least

Last time I asked a girl for her number she only gave me seven so I’d say they are.

Do we have a Captain yet? Is anyone in our squad a dead cert to start week in week out? Luongo or Scowen maybe?
