The thing is that while you could say twitter is only reaching 17% of the voters that wouldn't* be true because news is now dominated (before Trump) by twitter, constant flashing up of what people post on there, same on here, same everywhere. So these figures disguise their reach in reality. twitter, facebook etc. are all given extra reach by all the other platforms. print, screen and internet. *yes I meant wouldn't and not would. lol
Is politicshome Breitbart? And not working for either. I have just got into a bad habit of viewing the twitter links that come up on one site........and I am not on twitter either, just viewing That story actually was put up on Huffingtonpost first as far as I know and others took it up (including Newsnight) pretty quickly
This is quite interesting (half way down when he talks about the push and pull between No10 and DexEU.) Interview: Stewart Jackson, Davis’ former SpAd, accuses Downing Street of “constitutional impropriety” https://www.conservativehome.com/hi...ing-street-of-constitutional-impropriety.html
I wish people would stop making these kinds of things public. I really think that Jeremy Corbyn is doing his damnedest to make Labour a credible party to lead a Government. All the negative stuff seems to come from the Labour MPs whereas most people I know who support labour think that the leader is doing a good job. The problem will be solved quite quickly if those MPs who do not share Corbyn's vision are deselected and replaced by people who want to see these kinds of positive changes, This is not different from the anti-semantic stuff. Granted that these individuals complaining are justified yet I am sceptical that none of these complaint comes from Jeremy supporters. The Conservatives have a far worse problem with racism and the press should be attacking them as opposed to continually reporting the actions of dissidents within the Labour Party who are the vestiges of Blair's time in power.
I agree with you. It is whataboutery. I would suggest it is in response to the constant "remain" tactic to go on about death threats etc though which has been quite clearly politicised to try and make out that it is one sided. All these things are politicised. Even Margaret Hodge where it is quite clearly an attempt to damage "the enemy within" Corbyn. I don;t think you can blame the press. These are internal party problems that are airing it all in public to gain advantages over other cliques. Serious problems but they are using them for "disingenuous" reasons.
I think all electronic messaging should be disabled between 11 at night and 3 in the morning. I've read a few of my posts in the cold light of dawn and thought .... hmmm ..... delete!
I think they have come up with technology that can detect alcohol on your breath if you are trying to start a car, which then disables the starting mechanism. It must be possible to do the same with a computer.
