The way i see it is that all the big buys , even if originally brought to Klopps attention by the scouts / committee , are fully Klopps men. The lesser ones not so much as he may just ok their selection . An obvious example of this is Robertson where Klopp has stated he knew hardly anything about him but went with the recommendation of the scouts .

Based on his selection criteria though.
 
Do feel we are light in Strikers and central attacking midfield. No Coutinho, no Chamberlain, lallana will never be as good as couple seasons ago. No cover for Firmino really.

He was quoted at the start with us as getting itchy feet and looking for another club as not getting game time.

He seems to have calmed down now. Maybe that's the attitude thing.

Possibly. But we did try and get fekir and Alisson first.

More like Shakiri is cheap alternative for Fekir,nothing to do with Alisson.
 
Chelsea want Fekir?
A report that has surfaced on the pages of the Daily Star this morning Chelsea’s apparent interest in Nabil Fekir.

The Star cite Spanish reports, claiming the Londoners are keen to sign the Lyon captain, who of course, nearly completed a £50m switch to Anfield last month.

but can you see us adding another forward player when we have
Mane , Salah , Firm , Shaq , Studge , Ings , Solanke , Origi , Markovich.
Plus Woodburn , wilson , Ojo , Brewster.

The Origi one is the real killer for me as he , if he fulfilled his promise , would have offered decent cover right across the front 3 and we have seen flashes of that but unfortunately flashes is all they were.

in other words someone not associated with us is desperate to rekindle our interest .<laugh>

Short answer no.

Cover not good enough. We need to sell to buy up top in my opinion.

I'm not counting the youngsters I'm on about sturridge markovic origi solanke (maybe) and ings.

3 at least of them need to go.
