I frikkin well hope so, because if last nights **** show was anything to go by, we are in trouble.
Yes we have lacked prowess up front, but until last night we had the best defensive record in the league.
The lack of a goalscorer does not excuse leaking 3 goals at home to Bournemouth imo.

Going to through one out there for the sake of debate....what about a move for Wilshire in the summer?

Contract talks seemingly stalled with Arsenal and he'd be free. He's only just turned 26, helps with the English quota and is starting to get back to his best again.

Could be an ideal time for someone to take a punt on him. His injuries are of course a concern, but plenty of players have had similar issues at Arsenal. Perhaps our medical team could improve that?

Guys a class player when on it and I think would make a ideal partner alongside Kante as he can pass, dribble, break from midfield and breaks up play as well.

Is he the best out there, of course not, but in a crowded and very expensive market, it could be shrewd business and I think he's better than our other options in that position save Kante. It would also allow us to still give Bakayoko the opportunity to come good next season as well, as Jack couldn't be expected to play every game given his injuries record.

God no, the last thing we need is another overrated, permanently injured, English midfielder.
With Drinkwater and Barkley, we have plenty to fill that quota

His injuries are a concern and yes, we have 2-3 seemingly permanently injured players as it is. I don't think he's over rated though. He's a very good player that would get in most P.L sides when fit for a sustained period. He's the best English central midfielder by some distance IMO.

Yeah. Wilshere is quality. Would be a good signing for most Clubs.
He gets a lot of hate though even from our own fanbase - mainly because he's a bit of a 'chav'.

Really hope he gets offered a decent new contract at Arsenal mind you.

I dont necessarily disagree, but thats about as damning a statement as you could get as to the state of the England squad right now.

He seems to be another one of those players at Arsenal who perhaps needs a new start, new challenge.

It does seem young English talent gets a chance at Arsenal but then seem to stagnate. Ox, Wilshire and Walcott being notable examples in recent years. Wilshire's injuries have of course played a part.

Sky in Italy reporting we're in for Savic from Atletico. Competition from Juve though.

Was at Man City a few years ago and didn't have a great reputation but after a few seasons at the best defensive team in the world I'd guess he's improved. Also left sided so would add some much needed balance to our back three.

50M turned down for Willian then. I'm surprised, thought we'd have taken that. Interesting to see what we want for him, isn't he 30 soon?

£50m is **** all these days. Sigurdsson went for about the same so you won’t be replacing him realistically for similar money. Plus he’s having a good World Cup. China beckons.

thought it'd be a good fee but actually you are right.

    50m is **** all.

i would sell him for 65m+ deffo though at his age.

    Our club needs a rebuild

I think if he goes you have to keep Hazard. If Hazard goes you at least have a guaranteed quality player in Willian to tide you over for a year even if the Hazard replacement doesn’t hit the ground running.

yup, we need 1 of the 2.

I'd actually argue our team functions better when its only 1 of the 2 who play as when they both play they both want to hog the ball and slow the play down.

What i'd give for some proper wingers (actually pedro is one, think i'm the only one who gets a hard on for him when he plays in our team but he might have slowed down a bit now).

also we need to get some proper ball players in midfield

Who do people want as our new keeper? As soon as we find one Courtois is gone.

Seen that we want Cech back or Schmeichel but I wouldn’t mind Butland...

    I wouldn't mind Cech.

Neuer would be best but doubt he'd leave bayern :D

Ideally Donnarumma as the next super star keeper
