I was talking about the way he drives forward, history's his willing and able to sort from distance.

Kieta. His record of dribbling and shooting is well established

Lallana certainly won't do it, but could play, another style entirely
Milner will do the work but goes wider.
Fekir could be the one but won't start season

I'll refer you to the second part of my post...

Ignoring the new signing for a moment, Oxlade offers something none of our other midfielders can so he's obviously a miss. Whether you rate him or not is a different matter entirely.

Onto the new signings; maybe one of them (Or more than one) can offer what Oxlade does but they're new to the club, system, players and league.

They may take time to settle, they're may not be in the team initially, they may never settle or they could hit the ground running. Who knows?

I'm sure of one thing, Klopp would have like Oxlade available whilst the new payers impacts unfolded.

Know is such a definitive word. Like wwhengen people say never...

How about there is a high degree of belief that keita will be a strong dribber and shooter based on his career performances to date?

Do you even realise what the original point to this conversation was?

Ox will be missed and we don't know if anyone will play the same way.

I'm pointing out keita will fill that gap nicely based on his prior showings and klopp s deep desire to get him... irrespective of how little faith you have in klopp's ability.

:)

We are likely to start fabinho and Henderson is out due yo holidays and likely to start Keita out of desire to have him be out midfield general. Milner, lallana, wijnaldum won't replace ox But will fight for 3rd spot.

I don't think ox will be a terrible loss in this regard.

So your pining your hopes on Keita? A player that, albeit as looked great elsewhere, as never played in England and likes a red card?

I'm not saying he'll be ****, I think he'll be great. Point is, until he plays, we simply don't know. So, whether outs a big or little loss, Oxlade missing IS a loss

if you'd pay the slightest attention he already looks very tasty even if games are just ****.

you just want to hammer on about you don't know.

as I said I have a high degree of belief that he was be really quality day 1.

you wanna make ox into a disaster in your head fire on. he's a grand lad and contributed well but in the end there were several games where he was pish as well especially giving support to right back area.

we have several midfield options.

if you wanna talk about him also covering right wing area fair enough but you not mentioned his flexibility at all.

Keita will definitely add more dynamism to the team and I’d argue that he would do that better than Ox. I get Gez’s point that Keita is not guaranteed to deliver but let’s not forget that Ox was incocnsistent himself throughout the year.

Ox will no doubt be a miss. The only player that are capable of replacing his dribbling is Keita. His creativity and link up play - Lallana. Bring in Fekir and we’ll be well set for his absence.

lallana if fit will do pressing work. early indications is that he will be fit.

fekir in and that's a huge addition to a.c.m. role.

Which is the entire point of the conversation that MITO is either missing or deliberately ignoring because he thinks he's on some superb wumfest <laugh>

So did Voronin!

only to someone who doesn't know what they are looking at.

this lads the real deal

Never said otherwise. Could be Maradona in his prime, all didn't mean he'll settle here. As I said an age ago, you've really taken this way beyond the point of "Ox will be missed" <doh>
