Those 2 pictures just about sum the 2 players up...Cedric posing and Maya just casual with his family.
http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/16...ed-by-southamptons-transfer-approach/?ref=rss Interesting interview with Hughes about his involvement in recruiting. Praises Saints for doing so much groundwork before producing a list of targets...with his input towards the end of the selection process. Talks about how he has had to do much more at other clubs and says you can spread yourself too thin trying to do everything.
Wow, we are practising scoring goals (I think that's what they call them). Some radical training methods from Hughes there.
Took the following from a Derby preview of the friendly on Saturday. I really hope that Nathan can do well under Hughes as I have always felt there was a lot more to come from him. He is one of our more creative players and I have high hopes for him (despite the constant knocking he seems to get from some fans). 'Nathan Redmond is highly rated by Hughes, who finally got his wish to work with the 25-year-old midfielder after his attempts to sign him at Stoke City two years ago failed. Redmond fell to a peripheral figure for the Saints last season under Pellegrino after being one of the club’s most influential players the season before, earning him his first senior England call-up in 2017. However, it has been a fresh start for the former Birmingham City and Norwich City man under the new boss. As the Saints battled against relegation, Redmond scored in a 1-1 draw against Everton in the third to last game, which proved to be a crucial point. He is now shining again in pre-season, scoring twice in Southampton’s two pre-season games against FC Schalk and Jiangsu Suning'.
Not sure about this....should we be pleased that Macca is a good goalkeeper or worried that our players can't score.
