Maybe we should bring in a similar system where after 4 years you make a pledge like you have to do in Australia or you have to **** off back home?
Which still doesn't alter the fact citizens of this country, born here, support other countries when they play England. You seem to have ambigious views on this subject.

Fortunately not any more and if you drag that into this thread you’ll be off it.

Which would probably be doing you a favour.

Why? I’ve not strayed off the original point that those who have chosen to pledge allegienace & loyalty to another country, in this case Australia, are no longer English. That is a FACTAFUCKINGMONDO.

I’ve not politicised it. I look forward to observing the next round of public Citizen Ceremony Pledges. Oh, hang on, we don’t have them. It’s not the same as Aus.

Of course removing me from the thread would help your point.

You started off bizarrely taking a pop at someone English supporting England just because they emigrated and you’ve continued to post inaccurate ****e about it all day, culminating in dragging up a completely unrelated recent government **** up.

Entirely up to you if you stay or go.

I’ve not brought up Jamaicans or others.

    I’ve stuck to facts.

People who take on Australian Citizenship give up their British (English) Citizenship. Like it or not, it’s right.

SCB - both the UK and Oz allow dual citizenship. They therefore agree to abide by the laws of each country whilst living/visiting either country. If a Brit gains Oz citizenship status, they do not lose their Brit/English status legally. Unless there have been changes in the last year ?

Agreed, but by pledging loyalty you are setting your stall out & that is not in England’s favour. Your loyalties lye with Australia.

You still haven't answered about why it is OK for British citizens born here to support other countries.

It's not so black and white as that SCB.
I'm a Brit, born and bred. I follow their laws etc. I've lived in Canada as a landed immigrant and a Canadian citizen since '72, abiding by their laws. There are hardly any differences in the laws etc (as an ex-colony/member of the Commonwealth they are essentially identical). My son was born in Canada. My wife (Canadian born)and son are both British citizens and (currently at least) entitled to live in any of the EEC states.
My loyalty is to both England and Canada.
If there was a war between the two countries there may well be a civil war in our family household .
I'm thinking of moving to the Falklands :emoticon-0100-smile

The only thing that is black and white is that he has absolutely no idea what he’s on about.

You’re a Canadian citizen after living there for decades?? Get yourself to the Tower of London for a beheading.
