Glad to see Loftus Cheek get a run out.....this team still needs some tinkering

On another note be typical if we beat Croatia in September in the nations league....bit embarrassing for Fifa the possible WC winners have to play that game behind closed doors.

Don’t think they ever mentally wanted to be there. Body language wasn’t great. Belgium had a lot more quality on the pitch and had a bit more desire I think. Never going to beat a more talented team if you can’t match their effort. Can be forgiven though, bet they just want to get home.
 
3rd place sides tend to fail to qualify for the following Euros in the last 25 years.
