Yeah, Shawn stood tall and really battled in the trenches at Stoke.
Pretty much been their talisman since arrived and is the leader for the national team.

He just managed not to **** up for a while, not the same as being solid, imo.
The only thing I'd use Bert for is as a sub, further up the field, with someone reliable behind him. He's fast, and he tackles back quite well, but he's too rash.
Semantics maybe, but more of an accident waiting to happen as far as I'm concerned.Surely not ****ing up and doing his job equates to being solid?
He wasn’t spectacular by any means but he actually did a decent job, one that fans won’t acknowledge because of his past.
Don’t get me wrong, he’s not a starter. Robbo is the main man now. But it means we can rest Robbo and use Moreno who is very similar stylistically.
Unfortunately for Karius, the same will happen to him if he is given another chance.

Same as Lovren, Mignolet and Karius. The latter's spell of ok-ishness didn't convince me at all that there wasn't a catastrophe on the cards, I just wish it hadn't come at such a crucial time.
With Moreno, I just feel that we all wanted him to do well (as we should do with all our players), and so were relieved that he wasn't a total disaster on legs for a while.
Then Robbo came along and showed us how it could - and should- be done.
I see Moreno as a lesser problem simply because he’s not starting.

.Keita is the only one that will walk into the team. Henderson will be back late, so Fabinho will probably start after a full pre season

Liverpool 'could rival Everton' in race for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha
There are plenty of clubs that Mignolet will be perfectly adequate for.there's a reason why Moreno has no takers and is waiting for a free transfer.
he is pants.
same will be for mingolet.
I think fabinho will take a while to settle in personally. I think he should not be expected to be brilliant day 1

I don't know whether or not his wage demands will be an obstacle, because I'm not obsessed with the club's finances.![]()
Dunno, what are they?Sure youve pointed at what i believe is the issue, who will pay his wages?
Who else do we need? In priority order:
GK
#9
Fekir
CB
LB
3 now, 2 next summer
Dunno, what are they?
Moreno was actually solid for the first half of last season before his injury.
If he’s sold, then we’ll have to replace but I wouldn’t actively look to do it just yet.
Hmmm.. not sure.
No 9 for me is a hard one. We have lots of kids coming up.
Gk is obvious one. There's one kid that might be better on loan than as no 3. There's ward who I wouldn't put high on my list so buying one is obvious to us both
Fekir seems klopp s desire to pass to salah and firmino, he seems priority.
Rcb... at some point gomez either makes it or doesnt. Klopp likes lovren. Surely we give gomez a god before buying no?
Lb... I don't think Lewis is going to turn into a first team option so for me Robertson will be covered by clyne this year, I hope.
No 9. We have 3 to get rid of then two kids plus two more coming up. Are any the answer... cos tim o Werner wasn't great in world cup
Fekir yes. Allison maybe... not sure but maybe. No cb no lb
