The midfield was taken over by Modric, Rakitic, and co. Once that happened, we lost control and were hanging on.

Lots to think about with the formation but I think it was heavy legs more than formation that got you.

I'm not a blockhead like Matth just calling it as I see it, I usually want you out asap as you're **** to watch but you were good this time around.
I think the formation needs tweaking up top, with Kane playing right up there and someone in behind, the Kane playing deep thing didn't work that well.

I think Kane dropped deep due to Lingard/Alli not really having an impact in getting the ball to him so he got frustrated.

Central midfield without doubt our weakest position, especially as the back 3 seems to have counteracted our lack of CB options. I'm still not convinced Walker is good enough to play that position though and will always be liable to getting caught out against the bigger/better teams.


Also don't think Henderson on his own is enough against the better sides, we simply couldn't get control of the midfield back.

Don't think the set up initially was wrong, but think you might be right on the second point.

He played reasonably well in some games yes but he lacks consistency and last night he was a vast disappointment.

Really? Been one of our best players for me.

Yes he's very limited but it's our weakest position for sure and he's undoubtedly the best of a bad bunch.
