Really? Player whose been injured for 2/3 years, has busted both of his knees multiple times and has lost his key attribute in his pace. Not for me I'm afraid.
I agree, I liked him back when he went to Liverpool, but he’s been out far too long. With an already injury prone striker, don’t think we can afford to buy another one.
What we really need is a deep lying midfielder who looks up, reads the game well, and can spray the ball around. They're a bit rare though...
If we signed Ings then we would have to ship out Austin I think. Can't afford to have 2 strikers with as dodgy injury records as them, and that would leave us back at square one, needing another striker.
I think Austin has one good season in him....and this is the season. I can feel it in my water....which has a high % of gin at the moment because of England.
http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/16347396.xherdan-shaqiri-in-talks-with-liverpool/ Echo saying that we aren't in for Marlon, but are for Vestergaard
Wrong thread. This is the Saint Marlon thread. And JRod is probably off back to Burnley. Chadli? Decent game yesterday but like so many Saints players, between the classy moments there are some howlers. Back to St Marlon, I've seen a number of sources dismiss our interest so we can probably put this one to bed. Will be a nice surprise then if it comes off!!
https://everythingbarca.com/2018/07/16/barcelona-lose-buyers-transfer-players/ Blog site really, don’t think their explanation for this transfer not happening is correct. Didn’t think non-EU players was a rule in the premier league like it is in La Liga
There is no such restriction. Beyond that, two of the players mentioned -- Boufal and Lemina -- actually hold EU citizenship; Boufal was born in France, Lemina lived in France since childhood and actually represented the French national youth teams. In short, their blog sucks.
