Sack the coach in charge of crossing the bloody ball! Couldn’t we convert JWP into a wingback? Atleast he can cross the ball?
Still need an attacking mid/winger more than a striker, really. We've done well in a lot of respects, but the one thing we needed most -- creativity -- is still lacking.
Agreed, hopefully Armstrong can help with link up play in the final third but theres a lot of pressure on Elyounoussi to produce as it stands. We needed another winger before we sold Tadic, we still need one. I do think getting another striker in is also important though. You just can’t rely on Austin to keep out of the injury room and our other options are Long (not a goalscorer) and Gabbi whose so hot and cold.
We'll have to see, but Celtic fans seemed to be of the opinion that Armstrong's passing and link-up play was the weakest part of his game. And the weakest of their group of central midfielders.
