If it’s a player that the club wants to keep Levy will fight to keep him. However, if they are determined to leave, to the point of going on effective strike - Modric, Bale, Berbatov - there’s little that can be done apart from screw the buyer for as much as you can get.

The accusation is that Levy will sell Kane because he is Jewish and Jews love money.

The very strong implication is that Levy's love of money means more to him that keeping our best players and building a team to match our World Class new stadium.

Our owners have been great on that front to be fair - before they arrived we generally had to sell off any real assets just to balance the books

I don't dispute that we handled contracts atrociously, the RVP situation was an abomination and was Wenger's worst moment at Arsenal.

As for Spurs, your players will come and go just like any other club. You like to put a gloss on why they leave, but it's just semantics. If the right offer comes in, they will go. Just like any other club
