Birmingham City's transfer window has been plunged into uncertainty amid reports that the club have been placed under a transfer embargo by the EFL. It is claimed by respected Blues blogger Dan Ivery that the EFL have declined to register Kristian Pedersen as a Blues player - and that they have enforced a transfer embargo.

Blues are said to have been stung under Financial Fair Play guidelines following last summer's spending spree under Harry Redknapp. It is reported that Blues chiefs had been given a period to fix the FFP situation but that did not happen. Such a development would be a bitter blow to Garry Monk who hoped to improve the squad in the window - and had previously talked encouragingly about the chances of that happening.

It is understood the Blues boss wants to sign four more players after recruiting Pedersen with a central midfielder, a winger and a forward on his agenda.

He didn't just "do" us then....

How come we avoided an embargo?
You face an embargo if you remain in the EFL.

If you gain promotion to the Premier you are fined as they can't enforce an embargo. They can't stop the PL registering players for their clubs.

Therefore, if we hadn't won the play off, we would have had an embargo & not the fine we will eventually have to pay.

Beth,
One would think that instead of handicapping Birmingham, the FA should go to the source and cuff Redknapp.
He is the one who has displayed the same traits time and time again.
Spend every dollar he can to bankrupt a club ........... and then walk off scot-free.

He is footballing criminal who has consistently sent clubs to the wall ......................... and then he's off again.
Its not right.
He nearly screwed us.
He should be banned.

People might say, its the clubs fault but keep in mind, he has been brought, as a so called expert, to set the club up and get results.
He's nothing but a thief!

Knowing Hollywood’s habit of rehashing old movies And bringing them up to date, isn’t it about time they remade The Sting......................
“THE STUNG” A Four Year Plan.
The story of how a billionaire businessman ( Tony “the patsy” Fernandes ) gets taken for a cool £200 million minimum by a couple of conmen known as ‘Arry “deadcrap” Redknapp and his mate Mark “sparkless”Hughes, aided and abetted by fellow gang members Chris “slow ass” Samba, Shawn “short ass” Wright -Phillips and that all time favourite Jose “big ****a” Boswinga.
They can run it in the multi screen complexes after showing the original 4 year plan as prelude to the impending comedy/disaster that will unfold.

Go straight to the source, Turkish.
Slide on down to the lovely Sandbanks and speak with Harry direct.
He and his dog could fund a trip to the moon & back.
He's a top, top chap is Harry.
Good luck!
