You can not generalise about different nationalities. There are plenty of African players and those of African descent who do well for their clubs. What ever you think about them football wise Bony and the Ayew brothers have never been reported as causing dissent in our club.. As a lot of them come from poor backgrounds you can't blame them for chasing the money either. The only minus point as far as I'm concerned is what effect them being called up for their countries in the African Cup of Nations ,which is in the middle of our season, would have on our club. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and suggest this is what the guy from West Ham was talking about.
No I'm afraid it doesn't if they can get a buyer he'll be gone as well, everything in the Big Sale has a price
£3.5m for Bartley - seems cheap for a proven Championship Centre Half? So we’ve got Fernandez, Mawson, VDH & Amat.... at the moment.,.,
So thin on the ground now that a few injuries here and there the tea ladies will have to bring their boots to work...
I’m going into training I might be needed. The lad is back in training, he fancies challenging Olsson for his place.
Off topic: I was sad to learn of the passing of Alan Gilzean. A great player - we could have done with someone like him last season https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/football/2018/jul/09/alan-gilzean-obituary RIP
You and the bounder really are most amusing. Still not half way to plugging the £40M funding gap and still think you're flush. Get rid of the Ayews, boney and mawson and you might be close to break even. Only then will further sales generate money to reinvest..... .....If there's anyone left worth selling. Deluded. I feel sorry for your posters who actually understand what's going on and the seriousness of the implications of your relegation. And for potter who has an unenviable task. Looks as if he might be able to work on a shoestring buget though. He's going to need to be able to.
