The men's 5000m had a sensational finish. On the final bend, the **** hit the fan. Sorry the commentary isn't in English. Watch for Kejelcha, Barega and Balew.

Day one of the Nagoya Tournament. A few upsets and some late escapes by the favourites. The Yokozuna Hakuho had to use all of his skills as a *****lian wrestling champion to win today. (His father took silver at an Olympic games.)

Bold Eagle went into the second stage of the Trot High Speed Challenge in La Capelle as a tens on shot on Sunday. From the 5 slot, he quickly found the lead. He's a grand horse.

Good start to the Tour De France this weekend with a whole host of cycling crashes and injures going on, and the usual high speed finishes that the flat finishes bring. Going to be a hard Tour this year with some very tricky days ahead and some equally nasty climbs to get over.

It wont be until next week before we see the start of the serious climbing but like any of these grand tour events, its going to be a real test to sort out the men from the boys...

This final mountain stage on the Friday before the finish could decide the tour this year. An absolute monster

Day two of the Nagoya Tournament. The yokozuna sure are tricky bastards. Thay can look in all sorts of trouble, yet still find a way to win. And it's nice to see the new Ozeki Tochinoshin powering on. Go the big Georgian. :)

Day 4. Nobody in the history of sumo has risen more slowly to the rank of Ozeki than the big Georgian Tochinoshin, but he's now firing on all cylinders. If he continues his hot run, he could actually win promotion to Yokozuna in the near future. He's turning out to be quite the sensation.

Day 5. One of my favourites, a young novice called Abi got the chance to take on a Yokozuna. He's tall and light, but comes on fast with heaps of energy. Tochinoshin gets his chance to push on after yesterday's defeat of the only remaining Yokazuna in the tournament.

This Wimbledon semi final is the football equivalent of watching Dave Bassett's Wimbledon versus John Beck's Cambridge United from the early 90s. Very dull and I've only watched 10 minutes. Fair play to anyone who's endured the fully 5 hours 45 minutes so far, that's commitment. Have to feel a bit to for Nadal and
Djokovic sat in the changing rooms awaiting their chance. Surely the tennis authorities must come up with something else to decide the final set.

So they have now played well over 8 long sets of tennis. The winner will be getting spanked on Sunday.

If it gets to say 10-10 in a decider they should go to a tie break, this is doing no player any good in terms of fatigue for the final or injury due to fatigue.

Yep 10-10 then super tie break to 9 or 11 rather than 7 :emoticon-0148-yes:. There's no way either of these guys will be recovered in time for Nadal or Djokovic.

Rafa v Novak, what a game this is, poised nicely at 1-2 for tomorrow.

Thought the Nadal/Djokovic semi was going to go on as long as the Anderson/Isner one.

Maybe the final will not be as one-sided as previously thought!
