So if he's out for 2 weeks in total & then only scores 5 in the season, then he WOULD have scored 21 goals had he been fit. Don't get me wrong, I think Taylor does have a good footballing brain, but I think it's unlikely he'd be able to surpass the season Reid's just had. If he does, we'll all be happy come May next year.
I like Taylor RR , I too think he needs a run in the team whilst fully fit and think he’d do well , not sure he’d better Reid’s season though 10 - 15 max is my belief . That said I didn’t think Reid was going to work in the role he played last season so what do I know.
Yeah we tried red and it wasn't the lucky colour tan thought it was.......so bobs your uncle and we got the blues again....anyways I got a turnip nothing 2 be ashamed of.
Engvall has been listed. https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport...s/bristol-city-striker-gustav-engvall-1696703

Shame it didn't work out for Engvall, but I think it's right to move him on. Lots of activity going on - hopefully some more incomings soon...
He was never given the chance to prove himself aside from the odd appearance here and there. When I saw him play I thought he looked like a prospect. I just hope we've recouped some of the considerable monies we spent/wasted on him ?
I think his general play looked fine, yet he rarely looked like scoring. With only one or two striking roles available each game it's a difficult position to get much game time & there wouldn't have been many picking him ahead of Diedhiou, Reid or the likes of Taylor & Djuric (when fit!). I can understand why he went out on loan to get games, but I think it was a mistake for him to go back to Sweden, rather than say a League One side where the experience would be closer to the Championship. You would have thought sending him to our feeder club Plymouth would've been perfect!
RR, I might be talking out of the top of my frame but I can't see LJ being in a position to sell Marlon Pack, he really is key to our progression, imo.
Thought he only had a year left on his contract , if he won’t sign a new one we won’t have much choice , or have a player who doesn’t want to be here and leave next year for free , sounds like Hobsons Choice to me.
Bugger me I didn't realise the contract situation, MA ansd LJ had better pull their phaffing finger out, we don't want to lose Pack.
Gotta agree a player that hold it together, Seems like the clearout is coming true. To be frank the last half of the season was shocking and relagation form.’A good clearout could be just the job.
That’s a lot of players to lose all at once , much better to do it slowly over time. Sorry Wiz , but I’m starting to panic a bit now.
Same as Bobby Reid then and he has gone, Flinty had years left on his contract and they shifted him out, Christ it makes you wonder what our direction of travel is, it could be quite exciting or we could be like a headless chicken.
I amagine Flint had it written into his contract , at least by signing a new contract he ensured we did get a good price for him , whilst improving his own wage I imagine, win win really.
