Inconsistent would be your main worry. If you look and his knees are actually ok in medical then i don't think he will implode again.

I agree with you. It's probably a generational thing. You used to play the number that went with your position on the field, now it seems the number is a major part of player identity and some are very possessive over it.

I remember when it indicated the position you played in, and was assigned to the starters. Things were so much simpler then, (sigh).
He also dropped him towards the end of the season, we need him to play.
