Is it worth bringing up how Spurs knocked Germany out of the World Cup? Well if West Scam and Goons keep prattling on about how their teams won the World Cup...
If we win it, wait for the hacks 'Kane has a taste for trophys now, he will have to leave Spurs to win more'.
How long before it dawns on the hacks that we witnessed the end of Mesut Ozil's international career? Serbia, you know what you have to do.
How impressive was Cho Hyun Woo, South Korea’s goalkeeper? I imagine there’ll be some serious interest in him across Europe over the summer.
Surely reasonable people can agree that knocking the holders out of the World Cup is the most international glory any Korean team can hope for in the foreseeable future and therefore is worth an exemption from military service.
I can only think that Mourinho thinks they need to replace Fellaini's elbows. Just had another 'mare throwing himself to the ground and letting Brazil score.
In the 61st minute did I see Jesus pushed in the chest and immediately fall over clutching his head? Do the Brazilians train for this or something? I think they get away with a lot because of who they are. And if Serbia can pin them back like they have, then it bodes well for the rest of us.
Yugoslavia/Serbia & Montenegro/Serbia have always had an achilles heel: in 1998 they had a great attack (Mijatovic, Savicevic, Stojkovic, Jugovic, Stankovic) but a shaky defence and a goalkeeper who apparently got the gig by getting tokens from crisp packets, in Euro 2000 their attack was a little bit better (Mijatovic, Kezman, Stojkovic, Jugovic, Stankovic, Savo Milosevic on an absolute tear) but their defence was non-existent, in 2006 their defence was tougher but their midfield was sorely lacking in creativity they usually resorted to humping the ball Route One towards an ageing pairing of Kezman and Milosevic, in 2010 their defence was pretty solid but their forward options so threadbare they had Nikola Zigic up top due to him being approximately 16ft tall, and this year they've looked good in defence and midfield yet anonymous up front. At the risk of starting another Balkan war, what's become very obvious in the past twenty years is that, while the Serbs provided the steel of the old Yugoslav teams, it was the Croats and Montenegrins providing the silk - and to make that more obvious, I'll just point out that Mijatovic and Savicevic were both born in what is now the Montenegrin capital Podgorica, while Sinisa Mihajlovic was born in what is now the Croatian city of Vukovar.
