I've just seen it, its one of those six of one, half a dozen of the others... Maybe soft and I don't think VAR should have given it because it's very debateable both ways. As I said last night, it needs work. Perhaps the match officials should all have to make a decision with regards VAR reviews and need a majority decision in order to proceed. I think that would be better.
I would have said that before the WC. I think it has real promise now. The only people that VAR will disadvantage are the likes of Man U who get everything given in their favour.
It’s only as good as the dicks doing the reviews. They’re failing miserably at the WC. We have no refs there for a reason, they’re ****ter than the **** that’s there. Fans doing the reviews would be better.
Denmark are joint 12th in the rankings with England. We beat a team 9 places below us. They have drawn with a team 24 places below them in the rankings. I wonder if their fans will be having a meltdown and saying how ****e they are, like some of our more hysterical ones?
FIFA rankings are a crock of ****e, Belgium are 3rd, Switzerland are 6th, Poland are 8th and Chile are 9th despite not even being at the World Cup.
Yes, but some idiots were saying we should have beaten "lowly" Tunisia, who are 9 places lower in the rankings, 3 or 4 nil and it was a poor performance, whilst other, higher ranking teams, are having poorer results against teams further behind them in the rankings.
Germany are 1st, Brazil 2nd. Where domyounthinkmwecshould be? FIFA rankings aren't based just on qualifying for the latest world cup. Though the system does throw up some anomalies.
The system the rankings were based on was scrapped two days ago, under the new system England are 7th. Under the new system, the top three are Brazil, Germany and Spain.
