Bowen going in this window was always inevitable. Same with Grosicki. As you say, all we can do is hope it speeds up their exit. I doubt very much that it will. I expect it won't be until they've taken the last parachute money, maybe even a bit longer after that .... by which time we will be relegated and even more of a car crash than we already are. What a legacy from the ****s. And to think, they live locally, and get away with it. Unbelievable.
Hull City boss Nigel Adkins facing frustration as wait for first signing goes on The Tigers are still hopeful of deals for Eric Lichaj and Nedum Onuoha but may not have them before pre-season begins https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/hull-city-boss-nigel-adkins-1698175 Marvelous.
He certainly would be getting more grief in other part of the county that's for sure, really they have had an easy ride of it so far, though if this coming season we are languishing in the relegation zone then things could get nasty.
Still think if it carries on like this with incoming transfers and we lose Bowen, and with Adkins famous statement at the end of last season, " i want everybody through the door, transfer wise by 25th June with my full squad in place and ready to go pre-season" then there is more than a 50/50, Adkins will walk, he's been made to look a fool and his authority/credibility called into question by nobhead and there's only so much positive spin you can put on this car crash of a club. Not a big fan of Adkins, but just like the fans, he's just a another victim of the toxic two.
I agree, even though Adkin's want the job, there is a point whereby he has to decide, do I keep going and probably be fighting a relegation battle, or leave and keep his reputation in tact.
I don’t think it will Their tactic of getting people to stop caring before they eventually kill the club off is working very well for them
I have finally come to the conclusion that Lee Darnborough is actually not a real person, and is an actor hired by Ehab Allam. It makes complete sense.
Unless another non - struggling club comes in for him, I can see Onuoha opting for Bolton, being that he was brought up in Manchester. Struggle all season near to home, or travel to and from struggling Hull almost every day?
You are probably right, but there is only so much a man can take, and Ehab would certainly push me over the top.
Hernandez update - It seems he's demanding daft money, but still Wolves, Villa, Leeds, Cardiff and Cagliari are all still keen to sort a deal. Seems unlikely that Villa are still interested.
