You can get a decent house for £160k, but for a nice house in some of the areas that footballers want to live I’d expect north of £300k.
I’m sure someone from that area could fill you in with better details.
But 15-20k a week will be before tax I would have thought, same with any signing on fee.
It’s easier to rent for footballers too as they don’t have all the hassle of selling after.
I’m sure a lot of them will have invested in property at some point & may be renting it out. But footballers houses aren’t going to be easy to rent when you look at the prices they are said to have paid!

I doubt many of our players are in £300k houses, more like £500k upwards.

I think you need to at least double your prices for the areas footballers will be living

In Brough? Not likely.

I've not stalked the players to know what houses they live in but if I was on their money and wanted to live in brough I'd looking at spending a lot more than 300k. Just checked on rightmove and while there are some nice houses in Brough for 300-350k if I was on footballer money I'd want a lot more. Maybe that says more about me

He did say ‘North of £300k’ which is more than £300k. Some Championship players do live in Brough in houses with an approximate value of £300k if they’ve paid more - they’ve been done.

Obviously I don’t know what houses they all live in, but some were bought/rented from friends of mine and Huddlestone’s was about £800k, McShane’s was £900k and Davies’ was £500k, though none of them were actually in Brough.

If you thought your boss was an absolute ****, deceitful, a liar, untrustworthy, a **** (I may have mentioned that already), not to be trusted, disliked by all your peers, was blatantly stripping down your workplace to the bare minimum, a **** (I know but it’s worth repeating), deliberately not being competitive in his given market, not giving you the opportunity to fulfil your potential & you hated him because he’s a **** (a true FACT, he really is) would you, if the opportunity arose, jump ship or hang around out of a misguided sense of loyalty because he chucked a bit of sick pay your way when you injured your body fulfilling your role?
I did.

This is all very subjective too. The house Ben Amos had in Altrincham/Manchester he bought for 1.2m at 20 spent a fortune and sold it for 1.3m and lost a good chunk I always thought he was a poor keeper for us but he must have been on a decent wedge.

Hull City have that one benefit they can offer players great houses very cheap compared to a lot of their rivals. Tom Heaton is a prime example, England keeper lives in a house worth about 1.1m and its a 2000 square foot semi detached with no garage and a tiny drive. He is a true northerner though always says morning. I imagine the same money for City Players would get them double the house.

Suppose it doesn't matter when Enob offers them pennies.

I guess after Seb played 90mins yesterday and City failed to mention it on their club site then this confirms he has left the club?

Decent signing.

I’ve had a text from an Aussie mate to say we are talking to Matthew Spiranovic’s agent about a move.

I doubt the latter is true, he’ll need a work permit and it isn’t likely he will get one.

He has a UK passport and played for Nurnberg in the past.

They’ll have been mostly PL salaried rentals. Leeds United captain lives in Brough.

Rob Koren’s old house is up for sale at just under £500K.

The house Rosey and Robbo lived it went for around £750K.

Brownie’s old house is worth about £450K.

Livermore’s house about £800K.

Snodgrass about £750K.

Prices supplied by Carmine ‘ stalker of the year’ Galante.

You missed Ehab's which was a few k shy of a mil.

I certainly think the time has arrived when we’ll have to offer more money to attract players because of the owners.

I left work in November bringing an end to well over 20 years service because I clashed with the boss who’d manipulated herself into the role during a restructuring around 4 years earlier.

We were all getting made redundant at some point after turning down a relocation package. It should have been 2016, then went 2017, then 2019 then 2020 possibly 2021. The lack of clarity & continued insecurity pissed me & others off. They knew people wouldn't just walk away because we’d lose pensions & redundancy packages.

First mistake she made was including me in an email asking for feedback as part of the end of year appraisal process. Obviously I was honest & included her boss in the return email to make sure it was used in the process. The pick out words were “sex”, “discrimination”, “bully”, “inadequate” although there were many more.

I then repeated the accusations in that the department had become a stamping ground from the top for people to control through hardline sexist bulllying, in a meeting, that she was Chairing. She upped & left & came back with HR.

Obviously me being me, I’d bagged the evidence so when I was challenged to back up my claims I did.

Who are the last 10 people to get promoted? Don’t think about it, I have the answer ... 10 women.

Who were the last 10 people to be offered education grants or attend conferences ... I have the answer ... 10 women.

Who benefited from the last 7 positions created as a result of reorganisation ... I have the answer ... all women.

Who were the last 10 people to be made redundant ... I have the answer ... all men.

Obviously there were now giggles from the back, silence from the front & anger on some faces.

Her answer was unbelievable “I don’t bother asking the men because they never want to do anything”

I added a final question to the Management Team whilst HR were there, but made it clear it was in my capacity as Employee & Union Representarive. “I recently arranged with the VP of R&D that because of the insecurity issues surrounding our exit that he would guarantee pay until mid 2020, would pay redundancy to a minimum of mid 2020 & guarantee all bonuses would be paid at at on target level until mid 2020 regardless of when people exited prior to that date. Can Somebody please explain why this deal was offered to everyone except the Employee & Union Representative & who made the decision to exclude him?”

Silence. HR unaware, all eyes on the sexist for an answer but appantly this wasn’t a forum to discuss why. Meeting closed.

Went into another meeting with my Union Rep on the Thursday & an agreement (a favourable one) was in place for my exit by the following Tuesday, I was gone because of one **** of a boss.

Still no answer to why I was excluded from an agreement I’d arranged.

An inadequate leader can **** over a full team no matter how adequate that team is.
Women pffft. Cant live with em..cant shoot em
