At least Crouch doesn't want to leave you, what a talent that guy is.
What was wobble chops thinking putting that windowlicker up front and no defensive mid against our front four?
Maybe he had a touch on the man city Ht/ft 7-1 on offer?
It's the only plausible explanation,a bit of extra wedge to pay the taxman when he next comes knocking

Wobblechops, taxman, Crouch is rubbish, how very unoriginal.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by though :)

I was going to close this, but he honestly has a point about Crouch up front on his own and the lack of a holding player.

    He's still a pillock, obviously.

He didn't say anything about on his own. You're giving him too much credit.

As for holding player, who could we play? Huddlestone's still not fully fit, Sandro's injured and Palacios is off to Stoke.

He's not really a holding midfielder, he's inexperienced but I'd agree that we probably could've benefitted with his workrate in midfield.

    What about Kaboul?
He's played there before and we had Bassong available to take his place in defence.

I'd call him a ****er. But he doesn't sound like he's bright enough to even manage that.

I think you've got something there. We need to do something to protect the back 4 and this is probably our only realistic option at the moment.

Don't be too harsh. To support the two-bob team that nobody cared about and watch it grow into one that is universally despised is enough to make anybody bitter.
