Don’t panic yet. Our real new manager hasn’t even been mentioned anywhereI wish I could have your optimism Doc, but I'm afraid I don't. I see this guy who had a reasonable spell in charge at international level, and one good season in charge of a European club, followed by a lot of poor and mediocre seasons in charge of other European clubs. Whilst I acknowledge that two premier league managers speak highly of him, his managerial record does not reflect their opinion of him, and if I am truly honest none of the so called managers in the running for the job excite me that much, in fact the only rumour that did peak my interest, was the one about Inzaghi.
In my mind if we as a club are going to take a gamble, which would be basically on anyone who hasnt managed in England before, then I would prefer it to be on someone who has had some measure of success within the last 3 years, and if I had to stick my neck out to name someone, then it would be Graham Potter (although I've just found out that Swansea are apparently after him)
Yet and likely no ones heard of him either. But at least we were linked to someone that was known
