Justin Rose wins his ninth title at the Colonial.

'With the victory, Rose tied with Nick Faldo for the most PGA Tour wins by an Englishman since World War Two.'

Great player and great ambassador for the sport. About feckin' time that he started getting the credit he deserves from the British media, whose focus is always on the spoilt brat McIlroy.

Stretching the definition of Full Fight with this one:

Inoue is being hailed as a major talent, though. Seems very heavy handed, especially for someone at that weight.

England as good in this Test as they were bad in the First Test.
No consistency.
And conditions helped.

What's the point in just 2 test matches. This used to be an epic fixture a few decades ago. I'm hoping to watch one of the 1 dayers live...if there are any. Lost so much interest over the last 15 years with match corruption etc kind of ruining it for me.

Countries seemed alot more passionate once upon a time

Two Tests is stupid.
This series needs a decider.
Too much pressure in international cricket to do too much. Why are England playing Pakistan in Tests, then the Aussies in a one day series and T20, then India in T20s, on dayers and Tests all in one summer?
Can only be for the money.

It's a very decent bill, apparently. Don't know enough about the boxers to offer my own opinion, though.

The over-hyped McIlroy still getting the headlines in the US Open...... But for being 10 over par!! <laugh>
Justin Rose in contrast hits 13/14 fairways and ends the day +1. :emoticon-0148-yes:

It says a lot about Ian Poulter 's temperament to put up with the incessant heckling he suffered yesterday to just bite his lip and plough on through the back 9 the way he did .
Would love to see him ram it back down their ignorant throats with a great sunday

....as Justin Rose continues to demonstrate he's the most consistent British golfer :emoticon-0148-yes:

Just one shot back.
But what sort of course has all the best players in the world unable to shoot better than +3 after 210 holes?
But no real complaints from the players - which is unusual as they don't like being shown up and whinge at the smallest things usually.
The media are making more of it than the golfers - apart from McIlroy, who set himself up to fail by criticising the USGA Open course set-ups BEFORE the tournament started. <doh>
